  • Where does your food come from?
Our primary food sources come from the Channel One Food Bank in Rochester, MN as well as Second Harvest Heartland. We also receive donations from generous area businesses such as Costco, Hy-vee, Kwik Trip, Target, Walmart, and Cashwise. In addition, area farmers will donate fresh produce during the harvest season. Many food donations are contributed by our amazing community members. We do occasionally get miscellaneous delivery trucks.
  • Is it better to donate food or money?
Both are appreciated. However, monetary donations allow us to buy approximately 10 times as much food through our food bank in comparison to what you can purchase at the grocery store.
  • Can I get gas cards at Community Pathways?
At this time this isn't a service that we are able to offer. We do have access to other area resources that may be able to assist you. Please reach out to us to discuss options.
  • Do you offer hotel vouchers?
We do not currently offer hotel vouchers. The Salvation Army as well as St. Vincent DePaul are great places to contact for this service. • What food donations do you need?
We could always use condiments and spices! Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, nutmeg, and baking powder. Additionally, we need BBQ sauce, pickles, olives, mayo, salad dressing, and convenience items like beef stew and elbow macaroni. The below graphic details our most frequently needed items.
  • Do you always get the same things?
Our inventory can change daily. We get a large variety of items and cannot guarantee that the same items will be available.
  • Are there limitations on what I can take?
While we don't place many limiations on our items, we do have a few. You will find that our meat, and dairy will have signage indicating the amounts you should expect to take. We want to ensure that all of our members have access to healthy and balanced foods that will meet their nutrional needs.
  • I have dietary restrictions. Can I still come get food?
Absolutely! Community Pathways' Marketplace is proud to operate a choice model. This means that our members have the ability to choose any nutritional food items that will satisy their needs as well as be in line with any dietary restrictions they may have.
  • My roomate and I would like to sign up for services. Can we sign up individually if we live together?
If both parties live at the same address then they would be considered a household and therefore must register together as one family unit.

No! You may come any day of the week during our business hours that works best with your schedule. Please note that visits are still only once a week. Please plan accordingly.
